The Krewe of Nefertiti Family Day Parade proudly celebrates the talent, dedication, and spirit of our local schools and youth performers. We welcome school bands, majorette lines, dance teams, and marching units to join us in bringing music, movement, and energy to New Orleans East!
To participate, your group must meet the following requirements:

All student participants must be enrolled in elementary school, middle school, high school, or college, and accompanied by school-approved chaperones.

Each unit must include a minimum of 15 performing members, plus band directors, instructors, and support staff as needed.

All chaperones and support personnel must be 21 years of age or older and actively supervising students throughout the parade.
If your group meets the criteria above, please complete the School Band/Marching Unit Application Form below.
Once your application is received, you will be notified, regarding your participation status. Accepted groups will receive detailed lineup instructions, staging information, and parade-day logistics via the contact information provided.
