We are currently welcoming applications for the upcoming membership period!

To apply, please fill out the New Jewel Application and include the non-refundable processing fee of $35*.

NEW JEWEL MEMBERSHIP - $1,300

This package includes:

  • One General Admission ticket to the Krewe of Nefertiti Egyptian Experience Ball - January 18, 2026 (with options for additional tickets through a payment plan)

  • A riding spot on a traditionally themed Mardi Gras float in the Krewe Of Nefertiti Annual Family Day Parade -  February 1,2026, 1pm

  • New Jewel Induction Ceremony and Gift

  • Opportunities for networking and women empowerment support

  • Access to community service initiatives/opportunities

  • Expenses related to Compliance with Parade Day Public Safety requirements set by the City of New Orleans (including Permit, Sanitation, Security, EMS, NOFD, etc.)

  • Coverage of Parade Day event expenses (Insurance, Grand, Marching Bands/Entertainment)

  • Fees associated with daily operational expenses (legal, fiscal, marketing/advertising, website, bookkeeping, etc.)
     

*Please be aware that submitting your application and processing fee does not guarantee acceptance.  The Krewe Of Nefertiti is a private non-profit  organization that reserves the right to evaluate and decide on membership eligibility.
